Apex Legends Character Tier List For Season 19
Before going into our detailed Apex Legends character tier list, here's a breakdown of our rankings:
Tiers | Legends |
S Tier | Octane, Bloodhound, Gibraltar |
A Tier | Wraith, Bangalore, Newcastle, Seer, Wattson, Catalyst, Loba, Ash, Horizon, Revenant |
B Tier | Mirage, Valkyrie, Fuse, Mad Maggie, Pathfinder, Crypto, Caustic, Conduit |
C Tier | Rampart, Ballistic, Lifeline, Vantage |
Here is a description of the tiers in this guide:
- S-Tier Legends: These Legends stand out as the game changers. Excelling in both individual power and team utility, mastering an S-Tier character can significantly influence match outcomes.
- A-Tier Legends: These characters are versatile and solid choices for most team compositions. They bring a lot to the table but may lack the sheer dominance of the S-Tier.
- B-Tier Legends: B-Tier Legends have unique abilities that can shine in the right situations but might require more skill or specific scenarios to stand out.
- C-Tier Legends: While these Legends can be fun to play and have their moments, they may require a bit more strategy and support from the team to make an impact in matches.
S-Tier Legends
- Octane - Octane has long been one of Apex Legends' strongest characters, which hasn't changed in Season 19. Octane's mobility is a major strength, and his ability to passively regain his health is also integral to staying consistent throughout the match.
- Bloodhound - Bloodhound is a great tracker, always knowing where the enemy is at any given time. However, he can't rapidly get away or move in for the attack, so he isn't quite as strong as Octane. Overall, though, he's still one of the most powerful characters in Apex Legends Season 19.
- Gibraltar - Gibraltar may be a Support Legend, but that doesn't mean he can't hold his own; he's one of the most powerful legends in the game. For a defensive character, you can't find much better than Gibraltar, given that he can effectively keep his entire team alive if he is played well.
A-Tier Legends
- Wraith - Wraith is a deadly killer and can deal extremely high attack damage, making him a powerful legend. She's also speedy and can easily move across the map, allowing her to effortlessly evade attacks. Overall, she's a strong legend but not quite strong enough to make the S tier.
- Bangalore - Bangalore is an excellent choice for strategic players and can use his charged attacks to both disorient and cause damage to enemies. Because he has a versatile toolkit, he can take some time to learn, but it's well worth it.
- Newcastle - Newcastle is a strong support legend, given his shields. While he can't heal his team and keep them alive like some other Support legends, he can still protect his team efficiently using his shields.
- Seer - Seer is excellent in battle, as she can use her ranged abilities to deal major damage from a distance while not putting herself at risk. She can also reveal enemies, making it easier to track down their location and take them down. Overall, she's a solid choice for battle.
- Wattson - Wattson can take control of areas using her damaging electric barriers, preventing them from easily accessing certain parts of the map. While this can help the team take control of a particular spot, Wattson can struggle while charging her Ultimate Ability, which can damage the opposite teams' objectives from a distance.
- Catalyst - Similar to Wattson, Catalyst can take control of certain map areas, but she can't do so quite as efficiently as Wattson. She also needs the help of other Legends to hold her own in battle, earning her a place in the low A-tier.
- Loba - Loba is extremely mobile herself and can help her team become quite mobile as well using the power of teleportation. This power can be game-changing under the right circumstances, but her mobility doesn't equate to damage. Loba does what she does well, but she doesn't have a wide array of powers.
- Mad Maggie - Mad Maggie is a powerful assaulter, able to deal major damage to the opposing team with her wide array of offensive abilities. As a result, she's in our A tier.
- Horizon - Horizon's gravity-based powers allow her to move with efficiency, both making her a strong offensive and defensive player.
- Revenant - Despite being the youngest Legend in Apex Legends, Revenant's abilities put her in the A-tier. She's capable of both ranged and short-ranged attacks.
B-Tier Legends
- Mirage - Mirage's strengths are in her ability to disorient enemies, making it hard for them to see where they're going, much less make an attack on your team. While she's excellent at this, she isn't a great offensive player, earning her a position in the B tier.
- Valkyrie - While Valkyrie's ability to fly is interesting, it only grants her mobility and not much else. Even Skyward Dive, while powerful, isn't always a game-changing move. As a result, Valkyrie belongs in our B-tier for Season 19.
- Fuse - Fuse loves to deal damage and does it especially well using his rockets. Ranged attacks are always a strength in Apex Legends since it's great to be able to deal damage from a distance without putting yourself in a precarious position. That said, Fuse can sometimes end up in sticky situations, putting him in the B tier.
- Conduit - As Apex's newest Hero, Conduit is a Shield Healer, and has earned her place in the B Tier. She's able to heal both herself and her team, and provides great support across the board.
C-Tier Legends
- Rampart - Rampart's firepower seems like it could be game-changing - and it can, at times - but overall, Rampart could benefit from being a more versatile legend. While she can deal major damage, she needs the help of a strong team to back her up in other areas.
- Ballistic - Like Rampart, Ballistic relies on pure strength to take down enemies. While his attacks are powerful, he does need the help of Support Legends to keep him going consistently.
- Lifeline - As her name implies, Lifeline is a healing Legend. She's one of the most basic healing Legends in the game, though, with her Healing Drones able to give other players a little boost. While she's a decent healer, she lacks elsewhere, so she's a C-tier legend at this time.
- Vantage - Vantage is quite a mobile Legend, allowing her to evade opponents effectively. That said, she isn't particularly strong in many other areas.
